The Greater Twin Cities Saint Bernard Club was established in 1963. We are a licensed specialty club with the American Kennel Club and the Saint Bernard Club of America. The club holds an annual Saint Bernard Confirmation Specialty usually in the spring.
We have monthly meetings, usually from September to June on the last Friday of the month. Our monthly meetings and activities in the past, depending on interest, have included educational programs, picnics, dog shows, parades, pet fairs, weight pulls and seasonal parties. Our current members are involved in a large variety of activities with their dogs. You will find them to be a great source of information on many topics including; confirmation, obedience, grooming, carting, weight pulling, therapy dogs, AKC Canine Good Citizenship, breeding & St Bernard health issues.
We publish a monthly newsletter which holds a variety of information. It covers health topics, show updates, membership brags and news, cute stories members want to share, pictures, puzzles, jokes, tidbits and most important upcoming events, including date, time, and place of the next meeting. We currently are holding our meetings at a variety of different places as our attendance or function merits.
